The XCS eiConsole Offers Easy Transformations Between CSV (Comma-Separated Value) Files and XML Documents Via the Use of the "Delimited and Fixed-Width File" Transformation Module

With the XCS eiConsole transformation between CSV (comma-separated value) files and XML documents is facilitated via the use of the "Delimited and Fixed-Width File" transformation module (see EDI to XML Transformations). As with all the components of the eiConsole the user is presented with a graphical interface with easy to configure panels.

Creation of the file specification model for CSV (or any other delimited format) can be automated with the File Specification Editor:

As with any other specification for the "Delimited and Fixed-Width File" transformer, CSV descriptions are bi-directional and can be used to convert CSV to XML, or XML to CSV.
