SSL (Explicit) Transport

The XCS eiConsole Supports FTP over SSL

The XCS eiConsole supports FTP over SSL (Explicit). As with all the components of the eiConsole the user is presented with a graphical interface with easy to configure panels. This is configured largely the same as FTP; however, you now have the data channel protection level specified on the Basic configuration tab. Valid values here are Private or Clear.

To configure this, select the appropriate channel from the Data Channel Protection Level dropdown. As with the FTP Transport you can specify the Host, Target directory, Target file name and Target file extension.

On the Credentials tab, again, please see details on the FTP Transport. The User name and Password will need to be configured.

The Advanced tab is also identical to the FTP Transport.
