    Symmetric Encryption

    The XCS eiConsole and XCS eiPlatform Allow for Simple Decryption and Encryption Using a Password

    The Symmetric Decryption & Encryption Processor allows for simple decryption and encryption using a password. As with all the components of the eiConsole the user is presented with a graphical interface with easy to configure panels. To encrypt, choose Symmetric Encryption.

    Name the Processor: Encrypt and hit Add.

    Under the Basic tab, provide the password to be used for the encryption and the desired encryption algorithm.

    To decrypt, choose Symmetric Decryption from the Add Processor menu.

    Name the Processor Decrypt and hit Add.
