B2B Authentication

The XCS eiConsole's Authentication Processor Will Allow the User to Pull a Username and Password Out of the Incoming XML Data Stream

The Authentication Processor will allow the user to pull a username and password out of the incoming data stream (assuming that it is XML). They will use these to match against a username and password configured in an environment settings file or against a custom authenticator. As with all the components of the eiConsole the user is presented with a graphical interface with easy to configure panels.

Choose this Processor from the Add Processor drop down menu.

Name the Processor: Authenticate and choose Add.

Add the following:
XPath to username: //UserName
XPath to password: //Password
XPath to additional data:
Environment settings property name of username: com.PilotFish.username
Environment settings property name of hashed password: com.PilotFish.password
Authenticator class name: com.custom.MyAuthenticator

Data flowing through the system will then be authenticated against the username and password pulled from the inbound data stream.
